Material characterisation
From a theory perspective, we study prediction equations, equations of state and molecular simulation. Experimentally, we focus on calorimetric, electromagnetic and transport properties. We fundamentally study the following materials: Nanofluids, Ionic Liquids, Thermal Peloids and Nanometric Magnetic Materials.
Applied Physics in Biomedicine
Applications of Microcalorimetry in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Bacterial infections, in the Thermotherapy applications of Thermal Products and in the Biofunctionalisation and Biomimetics of Magnetic Nanoparticles.
Applied Physics in Environmental studies
Environmental control Systems, Energy and Construction Rehabilitation, and Remote Sensing in the Environment.
